Blue Eyed British: My Boutique British Shorthair Cattery in Charlottesville

Hi! I’m Brandy Segura, and I’m the founder of Blue Eyed British — a small, home-based cattery in Charlottesville, Virginia, where I raise British Shorthair kittens with love, intention, and a whole lot of care.

This all started with a deep love for the British Shorthair breed — especially rare colorations with dazzling blue or odd-colored eyes. There’s something so special about their calm, affectionate nature and plush, teddy bear looks. As a doctor, I bring a strong focus on health and ethics to everything I do. All of my breeding cats are health tested and screened, and I go to great lengths to ensure each kitten has the very best start.

Our kittens are raised right in our home and are part of the family from day one. They’re used to everyday noises, lots of handling, and even take trips to work with me. I take my time with socialization so that when they go to their forever homes, they’re confident, curious, and ready to bond with their new families.
